Cordillera de los Andes
Este sistema montañoso se denomina Cordillera de los Andes y se encuentra en América latina, entre las coordenadas 11 º LN y 56 º LS. Atraviesa los países Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Perú y Venezuela.
Los Andes se desarrolla en 7.500 km y cuenta con montañas que superan los 6.000 m.s.n.m, con media de 4.000 m.
